Guy founded Imagine This in 1998, driven by a passion for home technology done properly. With a background rooted in engineering, he has spent nearly three decades designing and delivering some of the most complex and impressive smart home and home cinema installations in the UK.
Guy is a subject matter expert in lighting control, home cinema design and acoustic engineering, and holds an exceptional breadth of professional accreditations including THX, ISF, HAA, Lutron, Crestron, Kaleidescape and Trinnov certifications, alongside IET membership and PRINCE2 project management credentials.
In recent years, Guy has become one of the most respected figures in the global home technology community. He is a proud CEDIA International Awards judge - covering the Global, EMEA and Americas programme and has dedicated thousands of hours to volunteering, mentoring and raising industry standards worldwide.
Guy is also the creator and owner of The Cinema Designer (thecinemadesigner.com) a subscription-based, online design application used by home cinema professionals around the world. He has taught and lectured for organisations including CEDIA, and has been a significant influence in shaping professional standards across the industry.
Michael is our Project Director and a subject matter expert in control systems and data networks. He leads the delivery of our projects from initial concept through to final commissioning, ensuring that every installation is managed with precision and care.
With a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to project management, Michael ensures that our clients experience a smooth, stress-free installation process no matter how complex the project. He works closely with architects, contractors and consultants to coordinate every aspect of delivery, and is the primary point of contact for clients throughout the build process.
Behind Guy and Michael is a team of skilled engineers and support staff who share the same values: do the job properly, treat clients with respect and never cut corners.
